Sherson’s first foretaste of the food industry involved helping out in his family café. Growing up surrounded by food, he grew an affinity for the culinary world and pursued a path literally littered with blood, sweat and tears! (Sherson spent his early chef years chopping garlic, peeling onions and even selling economy rice.)
His biggest achievement to date is starring in an Asian Food Channel original production, Great Dinners of the World. Sherson is also a familiar face in the local food industry as he hosts ‘5 Rencah 5 Rasa’, a lifestyle cooking show.
With 12 years of experience in the industry, Sherson brings his burning passion for Asian aromatics and flavours to Elegantology, interweaving Asian herbs and spices to enhance Western components in his sumptuous inventions. When not donning his toque blanche, this adventurous chef enjoys travelling, diving and singing.
